Accreditation
If you choose our Accreditation Option, this course allows you to gain the knowledge and Skills to become a qualified Makeup Artist.
You will have access to online theory training which you will need to complete and pass.
The Guild of Beauty Therapists is the UK trade body for the professional beauty industry.
(Passing our 3 Day Beginners Makeup Artistry Course will enable you to obtain Insurance and Professional Makeup Brand discounts such as MAC, Nars, Charlotte Tillbury and Urban Decay.)

This will be completed by the student at home before the course commences. This will take around 14 hours to complete. You will complete online tests to complete the theory part of the course.

Become a Qualified Makeup Artist
Practical Training
During the afternoon of each day you will work in pairs recreating the look on each other with Catherine's guidance.
DAY 1
10am - 4pm
Catherine will demonstrate a Natural Makeup whilst sharing her tips and tricks on flawless dewy skin, contour & highlighting and long-lasting finish. The basics such as colour matching, skin care, different skin types, hygiene and colour correcting will also be covered.
DAY 2
10am - 4pm
On Day 2 we will be covering Bridal Makeup. Watch Catherine demonstrate a Bridal look whilst sharing her tips and tricks on flawless Bridal skin, how to set the Makeup to ensure the Makeup lasts all day and tips for ensuring the Bridal Makeup looks great in photos.
Day 3
10am - 4pm
On Day 3 we will be covering Glam Makeup. Watch Catherine demonstrate a Glam look. This will include learning how to apply strip lashes, applying heavier contour and highlight, applying glitters and creating a heavier flawless skin.
Day 4
(Guild Accredited Students Only)
9.30am - 1pm
Practical Assessment Day
Create your own Signature look for your Practical Assessment using the knowledge and skills you have learned over the previous 3 days.
After the Course
(Guild Accredited Students Only)
Once you have completed the course and Qualified as a Makeup Artist you will have the opportunity to assist Catherine and her Bridal Hair & Makeup Team at Weddings to gain work experience. *Subject to terms and conditions
